Daily Responsibilities
- You must attend and participate in the weekly Business Development team meeting every Monday. Prior to each week’s call, please make sure that:
- Any requested updates have been completed
- SF documentation is done
- You have entered all referral out information for clients that you referred out in the "referral opportunities" section on the patient opportunity in Salesforce
- The “BD comments” are completed for clients that have admitted so the discharge team/case managers can use it as a reference point for aftercare plans. Reference this report to see who needs suggestions.
- You have confirmed that clients who were referred to your partner accounts made it to their care
- You are prepared to participate and have read the agenda in advance
- You must prepare and participate in your 1:1. You will complete a form within Lattice with a summary of the prior week and a plan for the next. This will be your talking points for your 1:1
- Accurate and up-to-date Salesforce documentation is due daily by 5pm (local time); including referrals and admissions. All Patient Opportunities need to be thoroughly documented on a regular basis. Please include the source and the contact for each referral (qualified or unqualified). If unable to adhere to these guidelines, you must notify your Director & Regional Director immediately.
- Outlook calendar must be accurate and up-to-date with your schedule for two weeks. We aim for a minimum of 50% scheduled meetings each week.
- Expenses (personal and corporate card) are due 2 business days prior to the deadline from finance so that they can reviewed and approved. All itemized receipts must be uploaded to Concur.
- Submit quarterly strategic plans and weekly/monthly goals for business development.
- You will not participate in any unethical activities or jeopardize the integrity of the organization. Please read: http://www.acponline.org/about_acp/chapters/fl/brokering.htm
- You must participate in all trainings facilitated through ARS’ Human Resource Department. They are located on workforce.adp.com
- You must comply with all HIPPA regulations.
- Each team member must respect the accounts of others. Once a potential conflict arises, you must disclose it to your supervisor and the appropriate action will be taken to decide who will manage the account. If two members of the team are responsible for the same admission and have both worked the admission, you will receive credit toward your admissions goal for the month.
- You must follow the admissions process effectively and efficiently.
